Garlic and Onion Burgers

This recipe is mouthwatering, but not ideal for date night! I love burgers, and this makes for a flavorful dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of ground beef

  • Two large onions

  • 6+ cloves of garlic

  • 2 packages of Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix (or French Onion)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Start your grills up! You want them to heat up for 10 minutes, on medium-high heat.

Dice one large onion and mix in a bowl with two pounds of ground beef, six diced garlic cloves, two packages of Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix, and salt and pepper. Form patties that are 3/4-1 inch thick. Make sure not to push down on the patties, especially while grilling (they lose their moisture).

Grill on medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Flip, and grill for 5 more minutes. Grilling times may need to be adjusted based on grill heat.

While burgers are grilling, slice your other onion into longer pieces, and saute them with olive oil or butter until caramelized. Serve on top of the burgers.
