Sweet and Spicy Mixed Nuts

These are so addicting, it's ridiculous. Thanks to my BFF Sarah for the recipe! It's a crock pot recipe, and a needy one at that, meaning you'll have to stir it every 40 minutes or so, so the nuts do not burn. I would even recommend doubling the recipe because they go rather fast.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 cups of raw mixed nuts. I use 1 cup of almonds, 1 cup of macademia nuts, 1 cup of pecans, and 1 cup of cashews

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 2 teaspoons of Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle Seasoning Blend

  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup

DIRECTIONS:

  • Spray your crock pot with nonstick cooking spray

  • Place nuts, spices, and maple syrup in the crock pot. Stir them well so everything is coated evenly.

  • Cover the crock and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours, or until slightly brown. Stir the nuts every 40 minutes to make sure they're not burning.
