Sautéed Rainbow Chard

Rainbow chard is GORGEOUS, and it is nutrient packed. I love cooking this as a side dish. It's simple, but here are the steps.

Ingredients:

Rainbow Chard stalks

Olive Oil

Garlic

1/2 a Lemon

First, wash the rainbow chard leaves and their stalks. Sauté some garlic in olive oil in a pan.

Cut the stalks off, and chop them into small bites. They resemble celery stalks. You want to sauté these first, so they soften, but still add a little crunch to your dish.

Once the stalks have softened, add the beautiful leafy greens! Squeeze a 1/2 a lemon on top of the greens. You want to sauté those until they are soft themselves. Make sure to stir them to coat them evenly with the olive oil and garlic.

Here's the finished product with my baked chicken. Enjoy!!
