The ultimate summer treat! Last summer my cousin Leah made this for me and it became my new favorite. It's easy and a relatively healthy dessert.

Step one: Prep the peaches.

Untitled
  • Wash them thoroughly

  • Cut them in half, and de-pit them

  • Brush a little bit of olive oil on all surfaces so they don't stick to the grill. I usually then brush a little honey on them for sweetness, but you don't need to.

  • Sprinkle cinnamon on them

Step two: Grill time

  • You should always start the grill and let it heat up for about ten minutes, whether you're grilling meat, vegetables, or peaches :)

  • I grill the peaches on low-medium heat, for about 6-8 minutes per side. It may take less time if you have smaller peaches. Just keep an eye on them :)

Step three: Making the whipped cream

  • Buy a carton of heavy whipping cream at the store.

  • I whip a cup of it in my Kitchen Aide, but you can make more than a cup depending on how many people you are serving. I add a couple tablespoons of sugar, sprinkle in some cinnamon, and a couple teaspoons of vanilla

  • Make sure you don't overwhip the whipped cream; it will become stiff and grainy.

That's it! Easy peazy! Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
